Strategic Business Development Principal

We are supporting a global mobility-tech company in recruiting a Principal of Strategic Business Development. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on bringing in new partnerships across the DACH region, with full ownership of the commercial cycle from prospecting through to closing.

What You’ll Do

• Build and manage high‑level relationships across public and private sectors, including mayors, public officials, and senior business leaders.
• Own full sales cycle and activity in DACH, sourcing, shaping, negotiating, and closing complex deals.
• Prioritise high‑impact opportunities and craft compelling, insight‑driven business cases to articulate the value of modern mobility solutions.
• Advise prospects on mobility strategy and potential funding pathways.
• Represent the company at industry events and meetings across the region.

What You Bring

• 8 years of experience, with a proven track record of closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
• Exceptional storyteller with strong commercial instincts and the ability to strike the right tone with diverse audiences.
• Highly consultative communicator who can build trust with senior public‑sector figures.
• Strong prioritisation skills; able to identify and pursue the most impactful opportunities.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment.
