Business Development Representative (BDR - German Speaking)

Business Development Representative – DACH

We’re looking for a German speaking Business Development Representative to join our team in Berlin!

You’ll be joining a team of BDRs responsible for outbound outreach strategy: developing sales qualified opportunities from scratch, through calls, emails and social media, and closing by scheduling online demos with ChannelEngine’s Account Executives.

What will you do?

In this role, you’ll contribute to growing the sales activity in the DACH region by building a robust pipeline of qualified client leads, uncovering new businesses to go after, and building relationships with prospective customers. You’ll identify potential prospects generated through targeted lists created by self‑directed online research, email campaigns, and events. You’ll proactively address incoming inquiries and leads generated through online advertising and marketing campaigns, effectively pitch ChannelEngine to key stakeholders via phone, online meetings and events, and stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and technology.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience with outbound B2B sales, in SaaS
  • Proficient communication skills in German and English, spoken and written
  • A commercial growth mindset and a drive for continuous improvement
  • Ability to handle a few no’s before receiving a convincing yes
  • Wants to become a commercial expert in SaaS and e-commerce
  • Currently living in the Netherlands or Germany

What’s next?

  • We aim to get back to you regarding your application within 2 business days. The first step is a screening call with a member of the recruitment team. This is followed by a meeting with our Sales Team Lead, an email assessment, an interview with your future Account Executive, and a meeting with our Director of Sales. The interview process takes approximately 4 weeks.
