Role Overview:We are looking for seasoned industry professional who can combine the knowledge of traditional payments industry, especially in the merchant acquiring side, with innovative crypto payments solutions.Candidate would need to be capable of working in startup environment, wearing multiple hats if necessary, and bridging communication between variety of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop pipeline of partnerships and manage incoming leadsPersonally participate in prospecting, acquisition, onboarding and due diligence of key partnersScreen through incoming leads generated through various channels and evaluate those that align with strategic prioritiesPersonally prepare necessary presentation materials, proposals, pitch documents and proposalsDrive deal closure from initial moment all the way to go live and successful transaction volume growthManage relationships with key partners / customersEnsure that key partners and customers are heard, and taken care ofAssist marketing team in launch and execution of marketing campaigns and other promotional activitiesDrive product development and innovationAct as internal customer representative and drive product roadmap developmentDetermine key areas for product expansion based on feedback from the market and customersWrite BRDs and act as a subject matter expert for the product management team on requirements
Candidate Profile:Core Background5–10 years of professional experience in payment industry, business development focus on merchants and Payment Service Providers from the acquirer / payment scheme perspective.Proven track record of building and scaling business development and sales / partnership operationsKnowledge of payments, acquiring and money transfer regulations, technologies and business models
Technical & Functional ExpertiseStrong understanding of fiat payment infrastructures, including merchant acquiring.Familiarity with crypto compliance frameworks, including VASP, stablecoin, and blockchain-based financial products.Hands-on experience in sales, business development and partner management function.Negotiations on pricing and contractual matters
Soft Skills & CompetenciesStrategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset — capable of balancing compliance rigor with business agility.Strong cross-functional leadership: able to collaborate effectively with product, legal, engineering, and customer service teams.Exceptional communication skills, capable of managing customers and partners from various cultural and geographical areasFluent written and spoken English is a must, other languages are a plus
