Business Finance Analyst

This Business Finance position supports the Private Bank (PB) franchise and manages divisional finance activities for the PB business. The role interacts closely with the PB CFO and business managers across hub locations. Responsibilities include handling several finance processes such as month end ledger close, journal entries, P&L reporting, revenue flash and actuals, balance sheet substantiation, and financial disclosures.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce, validate, analyze, and report P&L results for the Private Bank business in line with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Assist in preparing Revenue Flash updates and explain variances compared with prior trends and developing actuals during the ledger close process.
• Coordinate with business managers across regions and business units to provide driver-based explanations for movements, cyclical changes, and episodic events.
• Support month-end ledger postings, manage FX exposure activities, assist with financial disclosures, and help with balance sheet substantiation.
• Participate in execution of key financial controls and support audit-related requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

• Commerce graduate or MBA in Finance with specialization in financial accounting and reporting
• Ability to interact with business stakeholders and present financial insights
• Comfort working within diverse teams and global environments
• Strong desktop and presentation tool proficiency
