In our one-day workshop we offer you a practical introduction to the world of Business Intelligence. Well introduce you to our modern tool stack - Google BigQuery dbt and Looker Studio - and give you an introduction into Data Vault 2.0. With these new skills youll be able to build a modern Data Platform by analyzing the dataset to find out which is the most streamed song and the most streamed artist from all our employees modeling it according to the Data Vault Methodology and implementing it in a data warehouse. Last but not least you will learn how to dashboard your results and present your findings.

The dataset contains anonymized data from our employees with over 5000 of our favorite tracks & artists.

What we are looking for

• Ongoing studies in business informatics mathematics computer science or a comparable course of study
• Interest in big data topics
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Knowledge of dashboarding is an advantage
