Business Process Architect SQ

Your Role: 

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Architect for mainly but not limited to the Veeva Vault platform to join our team. In this role, you will translate business strategy into actionable capabilities, processes, and solutions. You will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring alignment and driving value across the organization. You will actively partner with our external vendors as well as industry peers to ensure best practices and market standards are reflected in our business architecture.

A key responsibility will be to ensure that the system design and operations remain fully compliant with regulatory, security, and organizational requirements. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will connect business needs with technology opportunities, ensuring alignment and driving measurable value across the organization. As IT Business Architect for the Veeva Vault platform you will be part of the DDIT (Data, Digital & IT) HR & various EF (Enabling Functions) Team and report directly to the Head of Data, Digital & IT Sustainability, Quality and Trade Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively partner with Veeva Vault platform stakeholders to collect their business requirements for technologies, and translate these requirements into technical design; create architecture diagrams, integration visualizations, technical flows, technical documentation, etc.
• Own and maintain business capability frameworks and target architectures for Veeva Vault platform that represent the strategy, business models, and processes.
• Analyze business strategies and objectives to define target operating models and capabilities.
• Develop and maintain business architecture frameworks, standards, and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to ensure solutions meet strategic goals.
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities in business processes and recommend improvements.
• Support the evolution of the enterprise architecture and the definition of the strategy for the Veeva Vault platform, in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture Team.
• Support project and program delivery with clear business architecture guidance.
• Evaluate required budget and resources for initiatives and support preparation of business cases / ROI / TCO.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven extensive experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, or business analysis.
• Strong understanding of business process design, capability modeling, and strategic planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with the Veeva Vault platform, Quality systems and related technology landscapes.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to understand business practices and having sound judgement and experience to resolve complex issues and challenges.
• Team player and able to build effective relationship and interact cross-functionally.
