Business Process Owner – Quotation process for systems (Flexible worldwide)

Position within ABB Robotics, part of the Commercial and Pricing Excellence team. You will design and govern the global end‑to‑end quotation process for robotic systems, cells, and engineered solutions, and support the development of digital tools (CPQ/solution design) that enable consistent quotation across all regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the global quotation process, establish governance and roles, coordinate rollout, ensure documentation and training, and use KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Design a clear workflow covering requirement capture, concept development, BOM/WBS creation, costing, pricing, and approvals, aligned with Q2O processes.
• Support creation and enhancement of CPQ and solution‑design tools, ensuring integration with the broader digital landscape and consistent user experience.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Pricing, and Legal to ensure consistent scoping, costing, and validation of solutions worldwide.
• Define global standards for translating BOM/WBS structures into cost estimates and pricing logic, establish commercial controls, and ensure coherent risk and margin practices globally.

Your Background

• Hands‑on experience quoting or architecting automation systems, robotic cells, turnkey solutions, or engineered offerings.
• Ability to translate customer needs into concept layouts, BOMs/WBS, and cost models.
• Experience working with engineering, project management, supply chain, and other domain experts, including stakeholder management across regions.
• Practical exposure to CPQ or digital solution‑configuration tools for complex systems.
• Strong process‑design skills with experience in governance, documentation, and global rollout.
• A structured, analytical mindset that brings clarity to complex engineered‑solution environments.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
