As soon as possible we are looking for a Business Travel Category Manager - Region EMEA (m/w/x)
at our location in Bonn, Prag or Budapest
What you can expect from us:
- Independent implementation of complex international purchasing measures in one or more purchasing segments of the Business Travel & Financial Services department with a focus on business travel (hotel, air, rail, car rental, TMC)
- Analyzing and monitoring the relevant procurement and supplier markets (national and international)
- Organizing purchasing competitions and conducting difficult purchasing negotiations with domestic and foreign suppliers
- Reviewing the purchased product range for customer acceptance, quality, standardization, cost-effectiveness and other optimization opportunities
- Independently developing and implementing concepts and target processes for purchasing in the assigned purchasing segment(s)
- Active management of the divisions and ensuring compliance with guidelines (e.g. Purchasing Compliance, S2P Policy, Procurement Policy)
- Independent calculation and realization of savings in coordination with the regional and global category teams
- Active project work or active project management on the basis of your own completed projects
- Pro-active collaboration in regional category teams and/or global category teams
What we can expect from you:
- Completed university or university of applied sciences degree and several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the areas of Business Travel, TMC and travel sourcing
- Convincing, self-confident and credible manner in dealing with business partners and suppliers as well as a strong customer and service orientation
- Very strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Quick comprehension & ability to learn
- Very good written and spoken German and English (level B2/C1)
- Ability to deal with conflict, teamwork and assertiveness
- Strong entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour
- Strong specialist and market knowledge in the business travel sector
