Location: Baden-Württemberg, Germany (Hybrid, majority onsite due to team leadership responsibilities)

A unique opportunity to lead a rapidly expanding Business Unit within an innovative semiconductor company. You will shape strategy, guide a multidisciplinary engineering and product development organisation, and oversee a portfolio of advanced semiconductor technologies for the automotive sector. This role carries full operational responsibility and a mandate to further scale and strengthen the Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold full ownership of the Business Unit’s strategy, operations, and performance.
• Define and implement a customer- and market-driven product roadmap across advanced semiconductor technologies.
• Build and expand the product pipeline to support ambitious growth objectives.
• Lead business and product development from concept through to successful market launch.
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of new products.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering and product development team.
• Manage resource allocation, project prioritisation, and portfolio decisions within the Business Unit.
• Drive decision-making to secure sustainable short-, medium-, and long-term growth.
• Report directly to the CEO and serve as a key leadership figure across both technical and commercial domains.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in a technical field (semiconductors or equivalent).
• 10+ years of experience in business development, product leadership, or BU management within a highly technical semiconductor environment—automotive experience preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of strong technical and market delivery.
• Deep technical knowledge in semiconductor technologies.
• Strong understanding of the semiconductor market landscape (ideally automotive).
• Proven leadership ability with excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• Strong capabilities in roadmap execution, project management, and cost modelling.
• Willingness to travel.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in MS Office and a collaborative, customer-focused team player.
