Your prospective job:

You are acting as a Buyer Customer Service Aerostructure Procurement (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Operations in Hamburg-Finkenwerder.

Your responsibilities:

• Execute daily RFQs for spare parts and services to guarantee competitive pricing and rapid response
• Define and implement category‑specific purchasing strategies for aerostructure customer service
• Lead sourcing activities including Calls for Tender (CFTs), market scouting, negotiation, supplier selection, and contracting
• Manage contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and trans‑national coordination
• Oversee supplier performance, optimize customer value, and minimize total cost of ownership (TCO)
• Drive cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program teams
• Support strategic supplier development to ensure capacity and technological maturity
• Handle claim management related to contractual deviations, quality issues, or delivery delays
• Initiate and implement cost‑saving and value creation initiatives in cooperation with technical teams

Your profile:

• Completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain/logistics or comparable
• Work experience in the areas of purchasing, contract management, and commercial administration
• Experience in project management and process improvement
• Confident handling of SAP and Google Workspace
• Fluent English and advanced German, both spoken and written
