Our client in Hamburg , a company at the cutting edge of innovation in the healthcare technology sector , is currently looking to hire a Senior Backend Developer . Known for delivering high-impact Healthcare Relationship Management (HRM) solutions , they are transforming the health insurance industry through a strong commitment to digital transformation and customer excellence , positioning themselves as a true market leader .

Your Role as Senior Backend Developer :

• Ensure high performance and reliability of backend systems by applying industry best practices and maintaining clean, efficient code.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend infrastructure that supports the company’s HRM platforms.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate complex healthcare and insurance needs into robust technical solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle , ensuring alignment with technical standards and the company’s strategic direction.

What You Bring :

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development , with a solid track record in building scalable, high-performance systems.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Willingness to be onsite in Düsseldorf two days per week , with flexibility for remote work.
• Fluency in German at C1 level is required.
