Optimus Search is collaborating with a leading company based in Jena, renowned in the semiconductor sector for expertise in micromechanical and optoelectronic components. The company works closely with clients on plasma processes, using laser-driven analytical techniques to deliver highly accurate measurements. The organization operates from four locations in Germany, with its main office in Wettenberg and around 550 professionals globally. Role Responsibilities

Design and develop advanced, high-level device software based on a SECS/GEM-compatible framework (C#).
Independently manage customer interface coordination and make necessary adjustments.
Assist with software commissioning, which may include global travel for on-site customer support (approximately 10% of the time).
Maintain close communication with customers and service technicians , offering solutions to technical challenges and handling complaints.
Contribute to designing innovative software solutions and executing them effectively.
Oversee version control and documentation , ensuring they are managed efficiently within a structured software development process.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

A degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent technical training with relevant experience .
Strong proficiency in C# within a Microsoft development environment , such as Visual Studio.
Solid knowledge of hardware and measurement techniques , ideally with experience in the semiconductor industry.
A proactive attitude toward exploring new technologies and programming languages.
Fluent English is essential , as the team operates internationally.
Team-oriented, communicative, and capable of working independently with great attention to detail.
