The Search Platform team builds, optimizes, and extends Cassini, ensuring low latency, high throughput, and cost‑effective operation across billions of requests and documents.

What You Will Accomplish

• Understand, estimate, design, and develop sophisticated software applications in modern C++ (C++17/20+)
• Deliver highly performing, low‑latency, robust code with extensive test coverage, CI/CD integration, and production monitoring
• Participate in code and design reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions
• Optimize development cycles through CI/CD enhancements and AI‑driven tooling
• Triage and debug production incidents, enhancing observability, alerting, and monitoring
• Share knowledge with teammates via documentation and mentoring

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, with at least 2 years of proven experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Solid foundational knowledge and practical experience in Information Retrieval and search systems
• Deep, demonstrable expertise using modern C++ standards for high‑performance computing
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems in production environments
• Strong intellectual curiosity and a tenacious drive to solve ambiguous, challenging technical problems
• Experience designing, instrumenting, and maintaining production monitoring, alerting, and observability pipelines
