We are looking for a Cabin Assignment Module Customization Engineer (m/f/d)

• You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg, on the southern banks of the river Elbe, with the option to commute by ferry. • Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautical legacy.

Responsibilities

  • Support in the definition of the CAM (Cabin Assignment Module) for the cabin architecture.
  • Assist with modification designs aligning system components and aircraft interfaces with suppliers, functional design and installation organisations.
  • Process the configuration with colleagues and customer‑specific changes to electrical cabin systems, e.g. using Principle Diagrams (from CDF to MOD completion).
  • Introduce modern software and automation.
  • Apply knowledge of electrical architecture; desirable experience in configuration management, electrical wiring and routing, and knowledge of software and hardware requirements.
  • Other tasks include creating presentations, block diagrams, implementing technical change content, reviewing and creating aircraft drawings, equipment control power consumption analysis, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in electrical design and/or integration is desired.
  • Knowledge of and affinity for digitalisation methods, tools and digital automation.
  • Experience in project management (not mandatory).
  • Ability to work efficiently in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Open to change and implementing it.
  • Language skills: Negotiation level English & German (French would be a plus).
