Job Description

We are looking for a Cabin Connectivity Test Engineer (m/f/d) in Hamburg. As part of the Aircraft Cabin Test Center in Hamburg, we are an innovative department that develops and offers services to ensure the maturity of cabin systems prior to delivery to the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the safety and reliability of cabin systems on AIRBUS aircraft
  • Increasing customer satisfaction
  • Creating added value for airlines
  • Testing and analysis of Wi‑Fi and cellular‑based network infrastructure.
  • Programming of test tools and scripts using Python, NodeJS, and C languages, e.g. for test automation or data analysis.
  • Analyzing Linux‑based network challenges to develop new test solutions.
  • Close collaboration with cabin test teams and the design office.
  • Active participation in Airbus innovation projects.

Requirements

  • University degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, or equivalent, preferably with a master's degree.
  • Experience in IP‑based system architecture and networks.
  • Experience in cloud computing.
  • Experience in Software/System testing.
  • Experience in satellite communications is a plus.
  • Basics in project (waterfall and agile) and quality management.
  • Willingness to travel and fluent communication skills in German and English.

Location: You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry.
