CAD PTC Creo IT Administrator - Festanstellung

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Administrator PTC Creo, mainly to provide IT support for PTC CREO 10 to one of the world's leading suppliers in their field with more than 3,000 employees worldwide. Proficiency in German & English is essential for this role, as it involves handling a diverse array of tasks and liaising with national CAD engineers in Germany & international teams all around the globe.

We are seeking a skilled PTC Creo Administrator to join a dynamic team. This role includes parametrization, configuration, and administration of PTC Creo, as well as acting as the application owner for the system, giving user support to local and international, internal CAD engineers. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in managing PTC Creo environments and strong knowledge of PLM systems, ensuring smooth operation, and providing support to engineering and product development teams. You will work closely with various departments to implement and optimize software solutions, with a focus on PTC Creo 10 and SAP ECTR.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain the PTC Creo environment, including templates, libraries, and user settings.
• Develop and manage parametric models and design automation tools.
• Administer user access, licenses, and system updates.
• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with PLM and ERP systems.
• Provide technical support and training to users.
• Define and enforce CAD standards and best practices.
• Act as the application owner for PTC Creo, managing vendor relationships and roadmap planning.

Potential Additional Responsibilities

• Ensure support for PLM SAP-ECTR products.
• Output management and document control from SAP.
• Develop and implement .Net/VB.Net programs for integration with SAP ECTR and PTC Creo.
• Provide technical support and training to users on CAD and PLM systems.

Skills / Qualifications

• Extensive experience with PTC CAD products, particularly PTC Creo 10.
• Strong knowledge of PLM systems, management, processes, and applications.
• Proficiency in software installation, customization, and deployment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and self‑motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Experience with other CAD software and PLM tools.
• Certification in relevant technologies or systems.
• Knowledge of database management and SQL.
• Experience in .Net and VB.Net programming for SAP ECTR and PTC Creo (is a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Fluent in German and English.
