Category Director Procurement (m/f/d)

We are looking for a strong, experienced person who sees himself as a globally thinking and leading personality and who steers the operational and strategic fortunes with entrepreneurial vision.

Aufgaben

• In category management and purchasing, you will be responsible for the leadership, development and motivation of a global team of approx. 35 employees
• You will ensure the further development of the organizational structure as well as the definition of efficient processes and interfaces to other areas
• With an eye on market trends, competitors and customer needs, you will work together with your team to develop and implement a clear assortment and supplier strategy

Qualifikation

• You have a degree in business administration or industrial engineering, or alternatively a comparable qualification
• In a globally positioned industrial company, you can look back on several years of professional experience in purchasing and category management, ideally in the process industry
• The efficient design and integration of structure, (matrix-) organization and processes are among your core competencies
