Certifying Staff / Support Staff CAT B2 / A400M (m/f/d)

Together with our partner Airbus , we are looking for ambitious Avionics Specialists and Tech Enthusiasts to support the A400M —the world’s most advanced military transport aircraft in Manching (near Munich).

The Mission: Powering the Future of Military Aviation

Based in Manching, with the opportunity for high-stakes international assignments, you ensure this massive powerhouse stays mission-ready.

Your core responsibilities:

• Systems Authority: Take charge of complex electrical system tests, functional adjustments, and high-level troubleshooting on the A400M's sophisticated avionics suite.
• Certification & Quality: Evaluate and approve maintenance work, acting as the final authority (Certifying Staff) for critical electrical tasks.
• Technical Evolution: Execute complex retrofits and modifications, integrating the latest technical changes into the fleet.
• Mentorship: Lead and instruct technicians without PART-66 licenses, sharing your Tech knowledge to elevate the entire team.
• Global Response: Support A400M customers worldwide on a case-by-case basis for urgent, unplanned maintenance.

Qualifikation

• License: You hold a valid EASA Part-66 CAT B2 license.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in Line or Base Maintenance, ideally with large-scale aircraft or military platforms.
• Diagnostic Skills: You have a "detective" mindset for troubleshooting complex electrical faults and executing intricate repairs.
• Leadership: You are comfortable making high-stakes decisions and certifying the work of others.
• Communication: Good German and/or English skills (written and spoken)
• Security: You are eligible for, or already possess, a national security clearance.
