Chapter Director - Event Manager in Köln / Düsseldorf (Women in Tech)

Job Overview
We’re looking for a confident, experienced event manager to help us host women in tech events in Koln or Dusseldorf! Our next event is on October 9th, and we’re seeking someone with a strong background in event coordination, people management, and public speaking. We typically host two events a year in Dusseldorf/Koln - if you love bringing communities together, we’d love to hear from you.

Location Requirement
To be considered, you’ll need to be based in the area - please do not apply if you're not in Koln, Dusseldorf, or the vicinity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as our on-site coordinator, ensuring that events run smoothly and attendees feel comfortable.
• Manage day-of logistics, including the speaking lineup, venue setup, equipment, and check-in/registration.
• Oversee event volunteers to assist with marking attendance, running speeches, providing support, and collecting sign-ups.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong event management experience and reliability.
• A supportive understanding of and commitment to women in tech.
• Leadership skills and the ability to create a positive and engaging atmosphere.
