About the Job

Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Headquartered in San Francisco, our investors include Benchmark , General Catalyst , Peter Thiel , Adam D'Angelo , Larry Summers , and Jack Dorsey . This role is for a Editor as an Independent Contractor , based remotely, for a duration of 3–4 weeks with a commitment of 30–40 hours per week.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $60.00 – $80.00 /hr. Hourly compensation is paid weekly via Stripe Connect. Contractors maintain full control over their work schedule and methods.

Responsibilities

• Create deliverables for common requests within your professional domain.
• Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.
• Improve AI model performance through structured feedback.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to elevate training data quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years professional experience in your respective field.
• Excellent written communication, with strong grammar and spelling skills.
