We are looking for an Accountant (m/f/d) in our Head Office in Munich . We are searching a passionate Talent being in charge of accounting activities of one to several Christian Dior legal entities.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Perform Accounting operations on all flows & processes, notably:
- Accounts Payable: invoices booking, suppliers payment runs, master data creation, IFRS booking
- Accounts Receivable: sales & payments reconciliation; intercompany reconciliations
- Cash management: bank reconciliations (in & out)
- Travel expenses
- General Ledger (GL): GL postings (such as payroll postings), accruals follow-up,
- Assets Accounting: asset depreciation, master data creation
- Ensure respect of Dior & LVMH deadlines for monthly, quarterly & yearly closings and reporting requirements
- Produce and analyze financial reports & statements for local GAAP and IFRS
- Support the Accounting Manager during annual audits
- Support the Accounting Manager on specific projects (for example new processes & systems implementation)
- Covering other duties during holidays of Colleagues
Reporting line & main interactions
- Direct Reporting to the Germany Hub Accounting Manager
- Internal: interactions with Germany Hub Finance team (Accounting & Controlling), operational teams, boutiques, Europe Finance team
- External: interactions notably with our suppliers, banks, auditors, local tax advisors, local payroll partners
Profile
- Successfully completed studies as certified accountant
- Several years of professional experience in accounting as well as knowledge in tax law required
- Strong analytical skills, service orientation, precise, structured, and reliable working methods as well as high commitment and conscientiousness
- Interest in operational contexts and processes
- Open personality and good communication skills
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- ERP (SAP or SAP S/4HANA)
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, additional foreign languages are an advantage
