Client Onboarding Project Manager Collection (m/w/d)

Riverty is recruiting a Client Onboarding Project Manager Collection for our collection team. This role supports our customers in the fintech space, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for larger merchants and partners.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced project manager or account manager to drive the end-to-end onboarding process for large merchants, coordinating cross‑functional teams and maintaining proactive communication throughout the process. The position is full‑time, temporary (parent‑leave replacement), and available in Berlin, Baden‑Baden or Verl with flexible working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of end‑to‑end onboarding processes for larger merchants within the Collection domain.
• Act as a bridge between customers and internal functional or business units, ensuring alignment and understanding of goals.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders (sales, risk management, operational finance, technical implementation, key account management, product, and others) throughout onboarding of new merchants and partners, providing clear communication and transparency.
• Monitor progress of onboarding tasks, provide regular updates, and ensure transparency of the onboarding process within the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration, information systems or a comparable education.
• 5+ years of experience in roles such as project manager, account manager or similar positions.
• Knowledge of debt collection products, such as collection, international debt collection or purchase of receivables, is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and experience networking with stakeholders at various levels within a cross‑functional organization.
• Good understanding of our business is advantageous.
• Proactive, self‑driven, and customer‑focused with a strong "Can‑Do" attitude.
• Fluency in English and German; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
