Client Solutions Lead - Finance, Gov & NGO - Global Business Solutions - Berlin

Overview

Responsibilities: This role sits within our TikTok Germany Global Business Solutions team, which is responsible for hitting revenue goals, building relationships with key enterprise accounts and helping clients drive business results on TikTok through product consultation, business development and support. The Client Solutions Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of individual contributors (account managers) to ensure flawless campaign execution and to deliver and upsell against revenue goals. The role will also build and manage strategic client relationships to grow our partnership with Finance, Government & NGO clients in the DACH region. This role will collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, including other sales leaders, product, measurement, creative and solutions engineering to advocate for client needs in order to influence product development and contribute to building a world class team and culture. The ideal candidate can operate autonomously, is customer obsessed, and can influence clients while coordinating with internal stakeholders. Successful candidates will have strong management skills, a client-service focus, problem solving and analytical abilities, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and support the development of custom solutions for advertisers.

Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership & Development – Lead, coach, and mentor a team of account managers (CSMs), fostering a high-performance culture; co-lead the Finance, Gov & NGO vertical with the Brand Partnerships Lead; develop team capabilities in consultative, data-driven campaign strategy, performance analysis, and scaling best practices; provide ongoing guidance and professional development opportunities; build scalable processes for efficient operation in a fast-growing environment.
  2. Product Expertise & Client Consultation – Develop deep expertise in TikTok’s business solutions, ad products, auction-based tools and articulate their value to clients in the Finance, NGO & Government vertical; maintain up-to-date knowledge of features, measurement capabilities and attribution models; consult with clients on capabilities, best practices and strategies that drive performance; leverage data to identify consumer trends and develop actionable best practices, playbooks and case studies for client success.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with product, engineering, measurement, marketing science and creative operations teams to troubleshoot client issues, improve advertising offerings and support product innovation; share insights with internal teams to shape advertising strategy, offering and roadmaps; support the team to conduct business reviews and strengthen client relationships for successful campaign execution.
  4. Strategic Impact & Innovation – Serve as a thought partner to leadership, identify strategic priorities, growth opportunities and operational efficiencies; influence product and company decisions with data-driven insights and industry expertise; proactively develop resources such as best practice guides, product implementation playbooks and vertical-specific strategies.
  5. Ownership & Initiative – Take initiative and operate with a high degree of autonomy in managing priorities and driving results.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in digital marketing, managing brand and/or performance advertisers across the full marketing funnel
  • Strong track record in performance advertising, with an understanding of scaling challenges and advertiser objectives across several media platforms
  • Ability to analyse data and extract actionable insights to assess and optimise campaign performance
  • Knowledge of tracking, attribution, and measurement tools (e.g., Pixel, API, MMPs, CLS, BLS, MMM, MTA)
  • Experience building relationships with senior marketing decision-makers at brands and agencies
  • Ability to proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex issues through proper escalation processes
  • Fluent language skills in both German and English, in order to communicate with clients
  • Willingness to work in Berlin, Hamburg, or Munich, with occasional travel within the DACH region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing or mentoring high-performing teams in account management or sales roles
  • Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to diagnose and solve technical problems
  • Skilled at translating technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in the Finance, FinTech & Government industries in the DACH region
  • Familiarity with campaign performance analysis on TikTok, TikTok Shop and other media channels
