The Position

At Roche/Genentech Pharma Product Development Global Clinical Operations (PDG), we are determined to transform drug development and realize our Pharma Ambition to deliver 20 transformative medicines addressing diseases with the highest societal burden by 2029.

As a Clinical Research Engagement Lead (CREL) you will strengthen our relationships with clinical trial sites, ensuring a seamless and collaborative experience for everyone involved. In this role, you will be a champion for clinical trial sites, serving as their primary point of contact and ensuring their needs are heard and addressed.

The Opportunity

• Accountable for identifying suitable sites for early site engagement and study conduct, providing key insights into the country, protocol and site feasibility.
• Developing and executing tailored disease area site engagement strategies to ensure successful delivery of the clinical studies within our country.
• Acting as a local escalation point for study-level challenges and working with internal teams and CRO to find quick solutions.
• Proactively engaging with sites to identify challenges, share best practices, and improve our clinical trial operations.
• Collaborating with a cross‑functional community to anticipate and support site needs, enhancing their overall experience.
• At sites of strategic importance, building stronger and deeper relationships with all relevant operational site stakeholders beyond investigators to engage on study site level topics.

Qualifications

• Degree (MD, PhD, MA/MS, BA/BS) in life sciences or an equivalent field.
• Significant experience in the pharmaceutical or a related industry, with end‑to‑end understanding of clinical trial processes and regulations.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive, results‑driven attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and willingness to travel to sites on an ongoing basis.
• Proficient in English and German.
