Cloud Backend Engineer (IoT Platform) (m/f/d)

Your role

• You will be part of an agile development team building and evolving the backend and IoT services that power our connected robots
• As part of the relaunch of our next generation cloud platform, you will build and evolve the backend and IoT services that enable reliable communication and data synchronization between robots and the cloud
• You collaborate with your team members through pair programming, code reviews and technical design discussions to build maintainable and scalable systems
• You contribute to the development and operation of services for robot and cloud backends using modern technologies, cloud-native architectures and best practices
• You take ownership of backend services throughout their lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and operation in production

Your experience and qualifications

• You hold a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field - or have comparable practical experience
• You at least three years of professional experience in backend development, preferably building cloud-based services and RESTful APIs
• You have solid experience building backend services using technologies such as TypeScript or JavaScript and working with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services. You are comfortable working in a Linux environment and using shell scripting when needed
• You have hands‑on experience managing cloud infrastructure using infrastructure‑as‑code tools like Terraform and serverless architecture patterns
• Experience with the AWS IoT Core and messaging protocols such as MQTT is a plus
• You enjoy collaborating in a team environment and contribution to the development of reliable and scalable systems for connected robotic products
