Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Join us as Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) on this exciting journey and experience the fascination of Riedel Communications in action in Wuppertal or Ghent.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop and maintain backend services and internal tooling using Kotlin.
• Manage infrastructure and clusters using tools like Nomad, Consul, Terraform, and Ansible, ensuring system stability, scalability, and zero-downtime deployments.
• Handle monitoring, service discovery, load balancing, and network security using modern observability and automation tools.

THAT'S YOU

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant industry experience.
• Proven experience in Cloud Infrastructure, System Administration, or DevOps Engineering.
• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure / Active Directory, GCP) are a plus.
• Expertise with Kotlin or Java for backend development.
• Open, transparent, and strong communication skills in English to collaborate effectively in a multinational R&D organization; German or Flemish are optional but advantageous.
