Job Description

Become part of the Cloud Core Team—Roland Berger's digital foundation for scalable, self-service ecosystems. Our internal clients are IT experts across the organization, and we enable their autonomy through reliable, product-oriented services. Guided by the principle “Empower through simplicity and transparency”, we deliver resilient cloud infrastructure that supports agile innovation. Whether operating identity, email, or data center products, we focus on efficiency, financial visibility, and continuous optimization through FinOps and strategic operations.

Your key responsibilities are:

• Drive strategic initiatives like multi-cloud adoption and platform migrations
• Manage the Cloud Data Centers, including Landing Zones, FinOps governance, and cost control
• Lead the admin team, overseeing service processes and cloud-hosting requests
• Provide regular reports on KPIs, SLA compliance, and cloud cost performance
• Operational stand-in for Exchange Online and email security (gateways and encryption)

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operating and optimizing cloud infrastructure—especially within Microsoft Azure environments
• Strong understanding of cloud cost management, FinOps practices, and contract governance
• Solid technical knowledge of email services (Exchange Online), email encryption, and network security gateways
• Leadership skills to manage teams, drive operational excellence, and coordinate with internal stakeholders
• Product-oriented mindset with an eye for scalability, automation, and self-service solutions within managed cloud services
