Job Opening: CNC Manufacturing Team Leader (m/f/d)

• Technical and managerial supervision of the CNC team in the areas of CNC turning and CNC milling
• Responsibility for workforce planning (scheduling, shift planning, vacation planning, capacity planning) in the CNC department
• Organization, management, and monitoring of production on CNC lathes and CNC milling machines
• Ensuring an efficient production process while taking quality, on-time delivery, and cost‑effectiveness into account
• Analysis and optimization of manufacturing processes, setup times, and tooling strategies in the field of machining
• Responsibility for quality standards in precision manufacturing (precision engineering / jewelry manufacturing)
• Close collaboration with design, work planning, production planning, and quality assurance
• Orientation, training, and professional development for CNC specialists
• Ensuring workplace safety, machine availability, and continuous process improvement (CPI, lean approaches)

WHAT YOU BRING

• Several years of professional experience in CNC turning and CNC milling
• Extensive knowledge of setting up, operating, and programming CNC lathes and CNC milling machines
• Significant extensive experience in employee management, team leadership, or as a deputy team leader in the CNC sector
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and the ability to read technical drawings
• Experience with production optimization and lean manufacturing
• A strong commitment to quality in precision engineering and mechanical manufacturing
• A structured, solution‑oriented approach to work, combined with strong leadership and communication skills
• Sense of responsibility, assertiveness, and entrepreneurial thinking
• Advanced training as an industrial foreman in metalworking, a master craftsman (m/f/d), or a state‑certified technician (m/f/d) is desirable
