Job Overview:

* We are seeking a skilled Conventional Lathe Operator (m/f/d) - Miller & Turner to join our precision manufacturing team in Germany.

* This position involves the independent operation of conventional lathes to manufacture high-quality, complex parts.

* The ideal candidate will have experience in manual machining and a strong understanding of technical drawings and tolerances. A well-established, family-run high-tech precision engineering company with over 600 employees, specializing in highly complex components for the semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, medical, and research sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently operate conventional lathes to produce precision components
• Read and interpret technical drawings and follow specified tolerances
• Measure, inspect, and ensure the accuracy and quality of machined parts
• Make necessary machine adjustments and minor corrections during the machining process
• Ensure cleanliness, order, and maintenance of machines and work area
• Contribute to continuous quality and process improvements

Candidate Profile:

• Proven B1/B2 Level German Proficiency
• Completed vocational training in metalworking (e.g., turning technician, precision mechanic, or similar)
• Sound experience in operating conventional turning machines
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings with precision
• Familiarity with quality control methods and measuring tools
• Basic knowledge of German is an advantage; willingness to undergo German language training is essential
• Independent, precise, and reliable work ethic
