Commercial Marketing / Sales Forecast and Demand Planning Specialist (d/m/f)
Location: Garching
Your Duties
We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled Commercial Marketing / Sales Forecast and Demand Planning Specialist (d/m/f) to join our team. The new colleague will play a critical role in forecasting customer demand and revenues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring demand and supply balance to support revenues meeting the business target expectations.
Demand Sensing: Develop and maintain unconstrained demand forecasts using various data sources as well as symmetrical methods like statistical forecast to capture full business opportunities.
Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations and Supply Chain Planning teams to align consensus forecast.
Sales & Operations Planning: Hand-off demand changes and address meaningful demand evolvements as input for monthly S&OP cycle and production planning.
Demand and Supply Balance: Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to ensure optimal stock availability to support customer requirements while minimizing excess inventory.
Revenue Optimization: Support gap closure activities to ensure revenue target is achieved with profitability.
Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify demand patterns and adjust forecasts accordingly.
Reporting: Present regular reports on forecast development and risk & opportunity profile to senior management.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in demand planning.

Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven applied professional experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain management, or related role within the semiconductor industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Blue Yonder) and advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment with cultural awareness.
Business fluent in English. German is a plus but not a must.
