This role strengthens the commercial backbone of our business. It connects procurement, cost awareness and financial thinking across projects and at company level. AHT CleanTec is a clean energy solutions provider specializing in decentralized, modular systems that convert biomass into hydrogen, syngas, and biochar. We’re expanding our in‑house team to strengthen our role as a reliable energy provider.

What you will do

Commercial and financial responsibility

• Build and maintain cost transparency across components, systems and products
• Support budgeting and company-level cost planning
• Contribute to discussions on financial direction and longer‑term positioning
• Understand how individual commercial decisions affect overall business performance
• Prepare clear commercial input for management decisions

Procurement and supplier responsibility

• Take responsibility for supplier selection, evaluation and ongoing development
• Identify manufacturers and sourcing alternatives
• Make purchasing decisions based on cost, timing, availability and risk
• Plan ordering activities with cashflow and operational needs in mind
• Maintain oversight of supplier performance and cost structures

Working with technical and project teams

• Work closely with engineering to understand technical requirements and cost drivers
• Support project teams with commercial input at relevant decision points
• Translate technical choices into financial and commercial implications
• Align procurement, finance and operational priorities

Structure and future readiness

• Help establish clear and practical commercial and procurement structures
• Prepare data and processes for future ERP integration
• Improve consistency, transparency and decision quality as the organisation develops

Who this role fits

• Professionals with experience in procurement, commercial management or finance in technical industries
• Backgrounds in automotive, machinery, energy, EPC or similar environments

• Proficient in German & English (both a must)
