Communication Designer Hamburg

We’re Hiring: Communication Designer (f/m/d) – with a strategic marketing mindset

Location: Hamburg | Full-time | starting in May/June 2025

We’re looking for a versatile, creative thinker — someone who sees communication design not just as visual work, but as strategic storytelling. What you’ll do

You’ll take a key role in bringing our brand to life and shaping how TEAMS communicates — internally and externally. Your work will include:

Design & Brand

1. Evolve and maintain our Corporate Design across all media and channels (print + digital)
2. Lead and execute brand-related photography and professional image editing
3. Create and document brand guidelines and style guides
4. Develop creative concepts and visual storytelling for client and internal projects

Marketing & Communication

1. Plan and create content for our social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky, etc.)
2. Help shape strategic communication concepts to reach defined audiences
3. Ensure a consistent global brand message across platforms
4. Contribute to campaign planning, implementation, and performance tracking
5. Identify trends and bring fresh, creative input to evolve our marketing strategy

What you bring

1. 2+ years of hands-on experience in communication design preferably in a marketing environment
2. A degree (or equivalent experience) in communication design or graphic design
3. Deep expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma (We are not working with Canva)
4. Strong skills in digital image editing, retouching, and brand photography
5. Experience in documenting and generating strategic and visual guidelines
6. Implement and refine our corporate identity consistently across all touchpoints
7. Conceptualize and develop engaging content for social media, ensuring alignment with brand values and our global objectives
8. Develop and execute creative concepts for customer projects according to their needs
9. You know how to justify concept and design decisions
10. Interest in current digital and design trends
11. Fluency in German (C2) and English
12. Experience in packaging design and print production
13. Knowledge of SEO and online marketing principles

About Us

TEAMS is an award-winning design consultancy with a global footprint — specializing in industrial design, UX, and brand communication. Our Hamburg studio is located in the creative heart of Winterhude, right by the Alster. We work in a beautifully converted carpenter’s loft across two spacious levels, complete with a workshop and event space. We expanded further into two office locations in Hamburg in 2022.
