Job Description

Tasks

Your mission as Community Growth & Fan Experience Manager (m/f/d):

You will build the FC Viktoria Berlin community in a data-driven, creative, and cross-platform manner. You will create fan moments, forge relationships, and develop formats that captivate people in Berlin – and far beyond.

  • You will develop a digital community strategy that sustainably increases reach, engagement, and fan loyalty.
  • You shape the fan experience across the entire journey – social media → ticket purchase → stadium experience → post-match.
  • You build strong digital touchpoints: content formats, community platforms, newsletters, social listening.
  • You will expand existing initiatives such as the Game Changer Club and develop new concepts – from creator collaborations to membership models and social impact initiatives.
  • You identify new cooperation partners from sports, culture, education, media and tech.
  • You develop hybrid formats that work offline and online – roadshows, promotions, campaigns, pop-ups.
  • You set data-driven KPIs for community growth, engagement, and fan loyalty, and derive measures from them.
  • You will work closely with our marketing, ticketing and media team to establish community work as a strategic growth driver.
  • You are actively expanding our community – with the goal of: more fans in the stadium, more visibility for women’s football, more enthusiasm for FC Viktoria Berlin.
  • You develop and are responsible for analog community formats – e.g. school collaborations, stadium events, club networks, partner projects.
  • You are both a creative mind and an implementer – from the idea to the roadshow, touchpoints, and evaluation.
  • You bring people together – from local sports clubs to schools, initiatives, sponsors and partners, and is the contact person for, for example, fan representatives.
  • You understand community work as strategic B2C management – and you develop long‑term plans, structures and standards with us.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in community building, ideally with a digital focus and ideally in the sports sector or comparable industries such as events, tourism, festivals, music or gastronomy.
  • Hands‑on mentality and a desire to actually implement things
  • A feel for people, target groups, multipliers and community trends
  • Creativity, strategic thinking and organizational talent
  • Experience working with fans, customers or guest structures (B2C)
  • Interested in direct exchange with partners, schools, associations, etc.
  • Flexibility for events, match days, evening or weekend appointments
  • Berlin Connection: you know the city, love the scene – or want to get right into it
  • Passion for football and pop culture

Benefits

  • The opportunity to help shape a growing community from the ground up.
  • A motivated, diverse team with a big vision
  • Plenty of scope for your own ideas, formats and projects.
  • A modern, digital working environment – partly in the office, partly remote
  • Access to a strong network in sports, media, politics & culture
  • An environment that delegates responsibility, provides support, and values achievement.
  • A role where you can help shape real change

Does this sound like you? Then send us your application with your CV and a short cover letter – even if you don’t meet all the requirements – we look forward to hearing from you and learning about your potential!

Let’s build something big together.
