Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technology roadmaps to achieve maturity gates demonstrating industrial performance and pre‑industrialisation readiness
• Protect Airbus intellectual property (IP) in all technology developments
• Trade and develop innovative composite solutions for high‑rate manufacturing of fuselage components
• Support composite technology development including automation and inspection techniques
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Design, Stress, Quality, and Simulation Engineers to develop end‑to‑end industrial solutions
• Cooperate with external partners, technological centers, and suppliers on new developments
• Conduct risk assessments within projects
• Prepare reports and presentations demonstrating technology maturity

Requirements

• Master’s or Diploma in Engineering or Technical Science
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Testing, or Composite Materials
• Knowledge of project management
• Basic knowledge of Composite Quality requirements, including manufacturing specifications, processes, and standards
• Ability to work in a multi‑disciplinary and transnational environment
• Creative, open mindset with willingness to explore and learn
• Strong team player
• Fluent English language skills
• Willingness to travel is desirable
