Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world!**What you will be doing**NVIDIA is looking for a committed, outstanding software developer, computer scientist or computational scientist to join its Compute Developer Technology (Devtech) team in Europe. This role focuses on research and development of techniques to accelerate leading applications in computational engineering (CAE, CFD, EDA), high performance computing, scientific computing, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. This includes performing in-depth analysis and optimization to ensure the best possible performance on the current and next generation of CPU, GPU, and network architectures.* Engage directly with experts in their field to understand and address the problems they are solving today and tomorrow.* Guide key application developers, contribute directly to the applications, develop reference codes or libraries.* Create and optimize core parallel algorithms and data structures to provide the best solutions using the NVIDIA platform.* Join efforts with diverse groups at NVIDIA such as the architecture, research, libraries, tools, system software, and product management teams to constantly improve our platform.* Influence the design of next-generation architectures, software stack, and programming models, by investigating the impact on application performance and developer productivity.**What we need to see:*** A BS, MS, or PhD degree in computer science or in engineering or a domain science with a strong focus on the related computational methods or equivalent experience with 10+ years of experience.* Strong knowledge of C/C++ and/or Fortran with solid understanding in software design, programming techniques, and algorithms.* Hands-on experience with parallel programming, e.g., in MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, and/or OpenACC.* Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management, and task prioritization skills.* Expertise in computational engineering (CAE, EDA), computational geometry and linear solvers is a plusWith highly competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, and a great company culture, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology industry's most desirable employers.
