COMPUTER SYSTEMS DEVELOPER – (SD 46.14)

Due to business expansion, our client is looking for a professional with:

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Plans, installs, configures, and monitors network cabling and operating systems, bridges, routers, primary and secondary servers, computers, peripherals, and associated software including Firewall Services, DNS Services, DHCP Services, NDPS Services.
2. Installation, configuration, and maintenance of server operating systems (Mac OS X, Linux, and Microsoft Windows), and backup operations in a mixed physical and virtual environment.
3. Analyzes and resolves problems between LAN/WAN, servers, desktop computers, and desktop applications.
4. Assists network equipment providers in the configurations design to ensure optimal efficiency.
5. Prepares cost analysis of proposed and existing network services, recommends contractual charges, service providers, and cost control measures.
6. Installs network hardware and configures internal components of computers to be utilized as network servers and workstations.
7. Provides technical support regarding network operations, problems, malfunctions.

Position Requirements:

1. Networking/Information Technology degree, equivalent experience, or substantiated knowledge.
2. Fluent language skills in German and English in communication and writing.
3. Demonstrated ability and professional and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with school personnel and members of the community.
4. The ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports.
5. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, teachers, administrators, and students.
6. The ability to diagnose and solve computer, peripheral, and network problems without extensive/any assistance.
7. Ensure user needs are met in a timely and satisfactory manner.
