Configuration Manager

Job description

• Consulting on the implementation of CM organizations and structures
• Supporting our customers in introducing configuration management in accordance with relevant industry standards (e.g. ISO 10007 EIA-649) and specific customer requirements.
• Further development of existing CM structures
• Analysis and optimization of existing CM organizations and processes with regard to new industry standards and the introduction of modern PLM systems (e.g. 3DEXPERIENCE Siemens Teamcenter).
• Comprehensive CM consulting throughout the product life cycle
• Consulting on interfaces and interdisciplinary points of contact in configuration management particularly in collaboration with engineering quality production and service.
• Operational support in CM and technical change management
• Partial assumption of operational tasks in the implementation of configuration management and the control of technical changes including status tracking and documentation.

Requirements Profile

• Extensive experience in the development advancement or operational activities related to configuration management in the aerospace industry or similar industries
• Experience with common PLM tools (3dX Siemens Teamcenter PTC Windchill)
• Proficiency in project management
