Configuration Manager (m/f/d) WB Program - AIRBUS

The focus as a Widebody (A330 & A350) Program Configuration Manager (m/f/d) is on all Widebody standard and customized changes for Cabin & Cargo, including industrial implementation planning and follow-up.

Your tasks:

• Consolidate decision elements for the change gates while respecting transfunctional and transnational needs
• Act as Product Change Leader, Configuration Management Operational Manager, and Configuration Management Industrial Integrator within the ICC‑ACP (Aircraft Change Process)
• Ensure embodiment of changes
• Understand the aspects that determine industrial feasibility and planning, especially Final Assembly Line requirements
• Independently organize and lead meetings
• Ensure that Engineering MOD (Modification) closure is progressing according to the program schedule
• Decide on the modification scheduling cluster at the Decision Board, monitor and update the cluster according to actuals until MOD closure
• Understand the Airbus attestation process within their tools from a Configuration Management point of view
• Perform gap analysis (Delta1)

Your qualifications:

• A degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
• Professional experience in configuration management, Customer Service, manufacturing, interface management and aircraft manufacturing
• Good experience in change management, project management and risk management
• ICC knowledge is an advantage
• Business‑fluent in German and English; French is an advantage
• Entrepreneurial thinking and action
• Ability to negotiate and take initiative
• Team orientation
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel once or twice per quarter within Europe (mainly Toulouse)
