Our client is seeking a Consolidation Expert to support group accounting and reporting, reporting directly to the Group Accounting Manager. This role involves optimizing consolidation processes and implementing consolidation software.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS and support international subsidiaries with reporting requirements.
• Contribute to monthly internal management reports for the Executive Board.
• Drive process improvements, controls, and implement consolidation software (LucaNet).
• Serve as a liaison for auditors, departments, and subsidiaries on audit and consolidation matters.
• Review financial statements of local and foreign subsidiaries to ensure compliance with group policies.
• Ensure proper application of accounting standards and support adoption of new IFRS regulations.
• Conduct training sessions on consolidation software.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, or related field with several years’ experience in group accounting, auditing, or consulting, including leadership exposure.
• Proficient in consolidation (LucaNet), ERP systems (SAP), and group accounting standards under IFRS and HGB.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and process-oriented skills with an independent work style.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English and German, with excellent communication abilities.
