Join IBM iX DACH as a Consultant – Digitale Transformation Healthcare (f/m/x).

In the Health & Insurance Cluster, we work in interdisciplinary teams on projects in the areas of insurance, healthcare, life sciences and pharmaceuticals. Our focus is on statutory (GKV) and private health insurance (PKV) companies as well as customers from the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. We set new standards for digitalisation in the industry and support our clients in transforming their services, processes and customer channels.

Responsibilities

• You will develop strategies for digital and structural transformations with a focus on the specific challenges of insurance companies
• You will carry out detailed analyses of existing business processes and derive concrete optimisation potential
• You will plan and moderate workshops with various stakeholders – from specialist departments to IT and top management – and ensure clear results
• You actively contribute your expertise and knowledge of market and technology trends in health insurance, pharmaceuticals, life sciences and clinics to consulting projects and work with clients to develop innovative solutions
• You will support the further development of existing customer relationships and help to win new projects
• You will work closely with internal teams from digital product development, project management, and data & AI to create viable, practical solutions
• You will create compelling presentations, decision templates, and business cases for different target groups on the customer side

Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare industry is essential – whether through working for a healthcare company (e.g., Start-Up), a management consultancy specialising in healthcare, or an agency focusing on this sector
• You have a sound understanding of industry-specific processes, products and business models in German-speaking countries
• Several years of relevant professional experience in management consulting, transformation, strategy and/or change management
• You have a degree in economics, digitalisation or management or a comparable field of study
• You think analytically, work in a structured manner and are able to present complex issues in a clear and convincing way
• You are a strong communicator, have a professional manner and can act confidently at all hierarchical levels
• You work independently, are solution-oriented and maintain an overview even in complex projects
• You are fluent in German and have a very good command of English (at least C1 level in German and B2 in English)
