Overview
Continuous Improvement Manager / Process Excellence Manager based in Nuremberg, Germany. The role is in Amazon Logistics and involves driving process excellence in the Last Mile Delivery operation. The role requires willingness to work in non-traditional shift patterns (including nights) and travel up to 30% of the time. Relocation support is available for candidates located at least 80 km from the site.
You will be part of the ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence Systems) team, focusing on process standardization on site and supporting station management with optimization of delivery stations operations. The goal is to solve complex problems with simple, practical solutions and to develop deep knowledge of operation processes, with effective communication plans across impacted teams to enable process alignment.
This role is based at our delivery station in Nuremberg.

Key job responsibilities
- Contribute to audit initiatives and support results-driven action planning
- Contribute to deployment of Process Standard implementations and upgrades within the delivery station, partnering with station management and stakeholders
- Support development and piloting of process improvements and ongoing benchmarking initiatives
- Ensure station management understands benchmark rates and is trained in technical configurations to drive accurate reporting and productivity boosts
- During peak times, lead day-to-day management of a Delivery Station, providing leadership to Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants, and Delivery Service Providers, and manage external agency relationships and performance
Qualifications and requirements
- A University degree (or equivalent) in business, engineering, supply chain, transportation, mathematics, economics, physics or another technical field
- Relevant experience in supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting
- Relevant experience in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Fluent in German and English (speaking, writing, reading)
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Experience in analytical tool building
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python
- Proficient in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight)
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Lean Management & Six Sigma Black Belt certification
