Reports to: Quality Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Each day, you will mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will also showcase your expertise by deploying and leading projects to improve and sustain local business performance.

The work model for the role is onsite.

This role is contributing to the Electrification - Smart Building/Smart Power in Sasbach / Germany.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Constructively scrutinize existing processes in order to achieve improvements in productivity, costs, environmental and energy targets or quality including documentation.
• Identify and work to remove roadblocks that prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives and oversee cases of conflicting priorities.
• Promote and lead improvement programs and projects within your own area of responsibility, with a hands‑on (Gemba, Kaizen, Lean) and problem‑solving approach.
• Lead a systematic fact‑based approach to identify and evaluate opportunities for future improvement within the local organization.
• Provide guidance and support towards disseminating a continuous improvement mindset and culture at all levels, activities, and functions to promote behavioral change for continuous performance improvement at local level.
• Report and present to the management team on progress, successes and challenges in the implementation of CI measures; present the location in an international exchange with other locations and the CI community.

Qualifications For The Role

• Successfully completed studies in Master of Business and Engineering or a comparable degree.
• Experienced in facilitating workshops and leading interdisciplinary project teams.
• Several years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Management or a similar position (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
• Strong knowledge and experience in Continuous Improvement, CIP methods (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, Standard Work, Value Stream Analysis and Visualization).
• High level of analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive and independent working style with a high degree of initiative.
• Confident handling of common Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of ERP systems like SAP.
• Comfortable communicating in German and English fluently.
