Job Description

As Senior Consolidation Manager you are part of our General Accounting Team. You are responsible for the consolidation of financial data provided by consolidated units of the ContiTech Group under IFRS and the ContiTech Group policy and guidelines, contributing to the preparation of Consolidated Group Financial Statements for legal and management reporting.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensuring IFRS compliance of provided data and technical consolidation in the system
• Consolidation of data to prepare Consolidated Financial Statements and additional information required for legal reporting, and technical consolidation in the systems
• Proposing improvements in the consolidation and reporting processes, monthly or quarterly closing, and implementing changes on the process on the organisational side (legal requirements or internal improvements)
• Subject matter expert for complex consolidation issues (e.g. M&A transactions) and supervisor for junior team members
• Support and advisory to the Financial Shared Services and Country manager
• Securing Internal Controls over Financial Reporting for the consolidation process

Qualifications:

• University degree in Economics and an international accounting certificate (ACCA)
• Profound professional experience in accounting functions
• Several years of professional experience in consolidation, with responsibility for preparing consolidated financial statements, preferably for a globally acting company
• Project management experience, preferably in accounting (e.g. IFRS implementation, post‑acquisition integration)
• Business‑fluent English, German language skills preferred
• Intercultural sensitivity and excellent cross‑culture communication
