This remote position is offered by IT Career Hub, founded in 2021 in Berlin by a team of professional education managers from the world’s largest EdTech startups. The company supports students from start-up to employment; graduates work at companies such as Zalando, Bolt, ImmoScout24, Microsoft, and Amazon. Over 500 students completed the training in the center’s first year, and in summer 2023 students achieved AZAV certification, allowing funding from the agency for employment.

Ideal Candidate

• Middle+ level
• Strong copywriter, capable of working independently without double-checking
• Senior copywriting manager capable of leading a team
• Distinguishes between creative and business-oriented copy
• Can identify high-converting creatives instantly
• Writes promotional and recognition-oriented copy, not just aesthetic
• Understands marketing and relies on data in work
• Has good knowledge of EdTech and, ideally, IT, with ability to research and create content without simply copying from Google
• Advantage: knowledge of English
• Communicative, proactive, flexible, and decisive in a startup environment
• Highly skilled in concept development, copywriting, and editing
• Skilled at interviewing experts, collecting information, and analyzing data
• Open to managerial feedback and understands that editing is part of the job

Responsibilities

• Generate ideas for posts and stories, write texts and scripts for them
• Collaborate with experts and teachers at the school to conduct interviews
• Write for advertising, landing pages, newsletters, and social media
• Constantly generate and improve content ideas
• Work closely with the marketing and content team, listen, hear, and provide and receive feedback
