We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cost Analyst to join our client that is in the public sector.

Build and implement financial models that provide complete, accurate, and transparent information – including sensitivity and risk analyses – supported by clear data visualization.
Conduct business analyses to assess supply, cost, and pricing strategies, enabling informed decision‑making at senior level.
Carry out financial and commercial analyses for contract requirements (e.g. Monte Carlo simulations, profit/loss reviews, benchmark evaluations).
Provide insight into the customer’s perspective regarding financial viability, profitability, and business case rationale.
Stay current with financial reporting requirements, IFRS, and procurement legislation , ensuring compliance in close coordination with corporate finance.

A relevant professional financial qualification (or equivalent experience with proven expertise).
An excellent academic background and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills .
Knowledge of cost modeling processes and TUPE/comparable European regulations.
Experience with corporate governance in complex business opportunities.
Strong attention to detail , even under pressure, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads.
Excellent analytical and communication skills , able to translate complex data into clear insights.
Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment .
Fluent German skills (C2 or above)
