About The Team And The Role

eBay Live is building the future of shopping by connecting sellers and buyers through live, interactive experiences that combine entertainment, trust, and community. Operating with a startup mindset inside one of the world’s most established marketplaces, eBay Live blends creativity and data to drive growth and innovation. The Country Lead for eBay Live Account Management (DE) is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team of Account Managers while serving as a strategic partner to eBay Live’s most important sellers. This role focuses on accelerating seller growth through consultative partnerships, performance coaching, and knowledge sharing, with accountability for scaling the eBay Live seller ecosystem in Germany. The role works closely with senior internal stakeholders across the eBay Live business.

What You Will Accomplish

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Account Management team, setting clear expectations, coaching for performance, and acting as a role model for leadership and collaboration.
  • Grow and retain strategic, enterprise-level sellers by leading executive-level relationships, conducting regular business reviews, and delivering consultative guidance aligned with seller and eBay Live growth goals.
  • Drive seller growth and platform adoption by developing customized business plans that support successful integration, early momentum, and ongoing optimization of eBay Live programming and cadences.
  • Use seller performance data to identify growth opportunities, surface risks, and guide both sellers and Account Managers with clear, data-backed recommendations.
  • Enable consistent, high-quality seller experiences by training the team on advanced platform capabilities, live commerce best practices, and optimal programming strategies.
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve complex seller issues, guide sellers through policy and platform changes, and ensure compliance across the seller portfolio.
  • Lead and contribute to strategic seller initiatives and change efforts, measuring outcomes and ensuring continuous improvement across the German market.

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, live commerce, or marketplace environments, with responsibility for strategic or enterprise sellers.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain senior-level relationships with sellers and partners across businesses of varying size and complexity.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a data-driven approach to planning, decision-making, and performance management, including a strong understanding of P&L.
  • Excellent influencing, presentation, and executive-level communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear, data-supported narratives.
  • Experience leading teams and initiatives through change in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, balancing attention to detail with efficient execution and a high level of ownership.
