As Country Security Manager for Germany, you will be the key point of contact for all security‑related matters, working in close coordination with the Regional Chief Security Officer. In this role, you will plan, implement and oversee security activities across all business units and support functions within your area of responsibility. Acting as the focal point for internal and external communications on security, you will bring together diverse teams to maintain a safe and resilient environment. Your mission is to provide effective security information, preventive measures and protection strategies that minimise risks and ensure a sustainable business climate.

Key tasks
- Ensure compliance with German security and legal requirements (e.g., Kritisdachgesetz) and implement physical security measures at sites after having determined the appropriate ones on the field.
- Develop and implement security concepts, including budget planning, cost estimation and involvement of external service providers if needed.
- Conduct continuous risk analysis, threat monitoring and crisis management to protect employees, assets and sensitive information.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, authorities and international security networks; provide regular reporting to the Group Security team.
- Perform audits, gap analyses and security assessments, and coordinate measures for information and personnel security.
- Plan and lead security measures for international events and develop country‑specific policies in line with global security standards.
Your profile – What you should bring along
- University degree and at least 10 years of experience in law enforcement, military, government security or private security, with strong motivation for security topics.
- Familiarity with large international organisations and ability to work under pressure, including full availability for crisis situations.
- Excellent English skills (spoken and written) and strong communication abilities for briefings and reports.
- Proven experience in cross‑functional collaboration, relationship building and working in diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and operate in challenging environments (onshore/offshore sites).
- Clear commitment to travel nationally regularly and sometimes internationally for reviews, training and meetings.
