Your Role

AsCreative Director , you’ll be the visionary force behind the experience. You’ll define the game’s creative direction and ensure every element—from gameplay systems and narrative tone to visual identity and player progression—supports a unified, compelling vision. Working closely with the Game Director, Art Director, and Technical Leads, you’ll help shape a survival game that balances freedom, immersion, and depth, with a distinct creative identity rooted in realism, discovery, and emotional impact.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the creative vision and pillars of the game
• Ensure a cohesive player experience across gameplay, story, art, sound, and systems
• Guide narrative tone, worldbuilding, faction identity, and environmental storytelling
• Collaborate with design and art teams to create engaging, emergent experiences driven by AI systems and procedural content
• Champion the player journey: from vulnerability and survival to empowerment and creativity
• Review and give feedback on core systems, pacing, dialogue, UI/UX, and quests
• Lead creative brainstorms, pitch documents, and milestone reviews
• Ensure every feature or asset reinforces the game’s tone, purpose, and immersion

Requirements

• 7+ years in game development with at least 2 years in a Creative Director or comparable leadership role
• Experience shipping at least one AAA or high-quality PC/console game
• Strong vision and taste across game design, worldbuilding, and narrative
• Deep understanding of player motivation, systemic gameplay, and environmental storytelling
• Ability to direct cross-disciplinary teams toward a unified creative outcome
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to pitch and defend ideas clearly
• Passion for hyper-realism, grounded world design, and survival or city-building genres
