Cryogenic Test Specialist (Microscopy Systems) (all genders)

Your Responsibilities and Duties

• Assembly and commissioning of cryostats and microscopy systems in our in-house high-tech test laboratory
• Configuration of system software for control and automation of test procedures
• Execution of automated functional tests at ultra-low temperatures (down to the mK range), including monitoring, evaluation, and documentation
• Analysis of test results to ensure the highest quality standards and system readiness
• Close collaboration with project management, development, production, and application engineering for continuous optimization of test processes
• Professional disassembly, packaging, and preparation of systems for worldwide shipping
• Optional support for installations and commissioning directly at customer sites
• Processing of technical inquiries and tickets within our internal support process
• Participation in an international, interdisciplinary team driven by innovation and precision

Your Skills and Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, or electronics technician with corresponding additional qualifications
• Initial professional experience in a technical environment, ideally related to cryogenic systems, vacuum technology, or optical measurement technology
• Technical understanding and the ability to grasp complex systems and work in a solution-oriented manner
• Experience with Python, Office 365, ticketing tools, and ERP systems is an advantage
• Structured and accurate way of working combined with a strong hands-on mentality
• Interest in practical laboratory work and working in an international, interdisciplinary team
• Good command of English, both written and spoken – for communication within the team and with international customers
