Customer Relation Manager (m/w/d)

We are a market leader in e-commerce software , shaping the future of digital commerce with our Shopware platform. To strengthen our team, we are looking for dedicated Customer Relationship Managers (m/f/d) who support and develop our customers throughout their entire journey. In this role, you will – depending on your level of experience – take ownership of different customer segments and play a key role in successfully managing and growing our existing customer base . You will work closely with internal teams and actively contribute to shaping and evolving our after-sales strategy .

These are your tasks:

  • Manage and develop Shopware customers in both 1:1 and scalable 1:n formats (e.g. regular check-ins, business reviews)
  • Build and maintain sustainable customer relationships in a proactive, structured, and prioritized manner
  • Act as the central point of contact for customer inquiries across various communication channels
  • Identify, drive, and execute customer development initiatives with a focus on retention, cross‑ and upselling, and renewals
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Support, Marketing, Finance) to ensure optimal customer success
  • Participate in events and industry conferences to strengthen relationships, expand networks, and position Shopware

This is what you’ll bring to the table:

  • Several years of experience in customer management, account management, or a comparable role – ideally in a digital or e-commerce environment
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, with a keen understanding of customer needs
  • Solid commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities within customer accounts
  • Technical affinity and experience working with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Confident presence, strong negotiation skills, and a structured way of working
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
  • Team‑oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
